CBN Single Crystal has excellent grinding performance and is widely used in processing ferrous metals and the related alloy. At the same time, with excellent thermal, electrical and optical properties, it is applied in a series of high-tech fields. There are two main types: Dark brown CBN Single Crystal and Amber CBN Single Crystal.
Features
1. High heat resistance: with sublimation at 3000°C, its strength at 1800°C is twice that of room temperature, 1500°C air-cooled to room temperature for dozens of times without breaking, and 2800°C in inert gas without softening.
2. High thermal conductivity: The hot-pressed products are 33W/M. K and pure iron-like, and are the most thermally conductive material in ceramic materials above 530°C.
3. Low thermal expansion coefficient: The expansion coefficient of 2X 10-6 is second only to quartz glass, which is the smallest among ceramics. In addition, it has high thermal conductivity, so thermal shock resistance is very good.
4. Excellent electrical conductivity: Electrical conductivity is 10140-cm at 25°C, and 103Q-cm at 2000°C. It is the best high-temperature insulating material in ceramics, with a breakdown voltage of 3KV/MV, low dielectric. When the loss is 108HZ, it is 2.5X10-4, the dielectric constant is 4, and it can transmit microwave and infrared rays.
5. Machinability: Its hardness is Mohs 2, so it can be processed into parts with high precision by general machining methods.
